ABSURDISM

Absurdism is a philosophical theory that the universe is irrational and meaningless, and that the search for meaning in life is futile. It's based on the idea that humans are isolated in a world that's inherently absurd, and that trying to find meaning in it leads to conflict. Absurdism implies a tragic tone and feelings of frustration that arise out of the contradiction between the human quest for the purpose of life and it's inaccessbility. The theory states that nothing in the universe makes any rationale sense. It is a belief that mankind exists in a purposeless, chaotic universe. Absurdism says that people are trapped in an incomprehensible world subject to any occurrence, no matter how illogical. It goes on to say that there is a serious dichotomy between one's intentions and reality.
