WHY DIDN'T THE JEWISH AUTHORITES KILL JESUS.

Why did the authorities want Jesus executed?

When Pilate, the governor, went out to them and asked the Jewish authorities, “What is your charge against this man?” They answered, we have a law, and by that law he ought to die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.

To Pilate, this was no crime, in his day, Cleopatra represented herself as the reincarnation of the Egyptian goddess ‘Isis’ and was given the title of “Queen of Kings” by Mark Anthony. Her son ‘Caesarion’ by Julias Ceaser, was also given many titles, including ‘god’, ‘Son of god’ and ‘King of Kings’ and was depicted as Horus the son of Isis and at his death, Emperor Augustus, the 'son of a god', was himself declared to be a god.

“Then take him away and judge him by your own law,” Pilate told them.
They could have taken him away and charged him with breaking ‘GODS LAW’ and had him stoned to death as they did with the innocent Steven.

But with the popularity of Jesus among the people, this would not be a wise move, so the leaders replied, ‘’Only the Romans are permitted to crucify someone,” and we want him to be crucified and your approval is required, Parra as seen in the PARELALELL Bible ‘Living New Testament’ John 18, 31. (This fulfilled Jesus’ prediction about the way he would die.)

There are at least 28 Old Testament prophecies that were fulfilled with the crucifixion of Jesus, such as Psalms 22, 16; “Dogs have surrounded Me; a band of evildoers have encircled me; they have pierced My hands and My feet.” All my bones can be seen. My enemies look at me and stare. They gamble for my clothes and divide them among themselves.

By forcing Pilate to condemn Jesus to death for them, they fulfilled so many of their prophets' predictions that the man Jesus was their chosen Messiah.
