Hi.
The Padres was eliminated by the Dodgers in the NLDS.
This is what I got after that from the Net.

Just a few days ago, the San Diego Padres had a 2-1 NLDS lead with the Los Angeles Dodgers completely on the ropes. It really looked like it was was over. The Friars felt like the World Series favorites.

It means that they are a betting favorite. The odds are in their favor.

The Friar felt like the World Series favorite.
