Not everyone has great Google-fu so please drop a tip or two to help people do it better!

Inspired by something I just learned and I have tested. Yes, it works.

The tip:
If you don't like just getting 10 results per page after you run a search, go to the URL and add &num=100 to the end of the URL. Refresh and voila, you'll get 100 results. Works with Google. Haven't tried it with any other search engines.

Happy searching!

@jespah,
I can't give any current tricks. But I can tell you tricks that no longer work because Google search is atrocious.

"search term" basically doesn't work if you want to be hyperspecific about the spelling and guarantee all the words between the quotes are in the search results.

-searchterm doesn't work anymore if, for instance, you're trying to make sure the search term in question WILL BE COMPLETELY ABSENT IN/BANISHED FROM your search results.

@tsarstepan,
Yeah, I've noticed the minus sign seems to be ... less than wonderful now. Hmm.
