I always think to myself what if the Universe never existed and would never exist for all of eternity. This is the ultimate question to ponder. It's purity at the most extreme level. Something creates an imbalance to nothingness. Then again for there to be nothing there has to be something. It's almost like this state of never anything happening is a total impossibility. Before the Big Bang there was nothing. But this was actually something in a sense. This non-state is in itself something. Even before the before is something. It's a catch 22 that is incomprehensible to the human mind.
