Is this sentence clear or should 'need' be 'needs' and should 'that' be omitted?
We are the general contractor who will be completing the repairs and need access to the portal so that we can download the documents.

As General Contractor, we will complete the repairs and will need access to the documents on the portal.

Agree with RP; alternatively:
As the general repair contractor, we need access to the portal in order to download the documents.
