This morning, we've launched an emergency national housing drive to connect your empty beds with hurricane victims who desperately need a place to wait out the storm. You can post your offer of housing (a spare room, extra bed, even a decent couch) and search for available housing online at:

No sooner does Cindy Sheehan move along home to california than the liberals bastiches that supported her are trying to find beds for victims of Katrina.

Yeah, they will probably rip off the refugees with really high room rents. Got to make a profit some way to keep capitalism safe from corruption by the poor.

<tap, tap, tap>

Now that the Mayor of New Orleans has been reduced to profanity amid the chaos, Bush finally admits the federal government's response has been inadequate. So, guess what. He's going to do another flyover. Oh yeah, just what they need. <not rolling my eyes...hell, I'm stomping my feet!>

He'll stay at a pretty good altitude in Marine One, I hear. Otherwise, some of those armed looters might take potshots at his plane.

Dammit, why is he wasting time like this? Why isn't he ordering military forces into the area?

I'm applauding the mayor of New Orleans who just cleaned Bush's clock, telling him to get his minions off their asses and get the help needed right now!

This is the CNN report from one hour ago. About mid-page, there is a link to click on to hear Mayor Nagin's comments.

I don't know if it's the Governor's fault, i don't know if it's the President's fault . . . but somebody needs to get their ass on a plane, and sit down, the two of 'em, and figure this out.

NPR news just played a statement by Representative Scott of Georgia, speaking in Atlanta, during which he said:

People in New Orleans and Mississippi have died, not because of Katrina, but because of the Federal Government.
