A good friend inherited a vintage/antique bronze sculpture of Buddah and wants to learn more about the possible age, origin and value of the piece. I realize that the subject matter is very prolific and that dating these pieces must be difficult. His father was told that the sculpture is very old for whatever that is worth. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! I will attempt to upload pics as well..

Don't waste your time with trying to get an amateurs' appraisal here since there are literally no professional appraisers here, let alone a professional appraiser willing to do such work like finding out an object's provenance and fair market value - for free.
