Grammatical question involving [sic].

In the following sentence, I assume the phrase, a Daryl Palma" is meant to be "under Obama." however, it's not obvious so how do I show a correction?

"In 2017, Trump accomplished, virtually nothing, so the economy kept going, basically on the same track as it had a Daryl Palma [sic]."

Hmm, I don't know if there's an actual rule for this, although you could put the probable real words in parentheses or a footnote, maybe with a link to an article like this one: https://www.brain.northwestern.edu/dementia/primary-progressive-aphasia/symptoms-causes.html
