The FCC voted today to restore #NetNeutrality. This is a huge victory in the fight for an open internet.
The regulations adopted today prohibit ISPs like AT&T, Comcast, and Verizon from selectively throttling or blocking users’ internet traffic or charging consumers extra fees in order for some websites to be delivered faster than others. Net neutrality was of course rolled back during the Trump administration.
Unfettered access to the internet is essential to a vibrant democracy and strong economy.

@edgarblythe,
It's too bad this is a regulatory order and not the result of legislation. A subsequent administration can easily reverse it.

@hightor,
True, but it's a crumb I will accept for now.
