Would you go for a ride on this?

I think it's in Vegas. I don't know if I could handle it.
Proving once more that there is something for everybody. Me personally you wouldn't catch within 100 feet of that thing. Even the design of the building makes me queasy.
No, I'm a pu$$y when it comes to heights.
This is the one that gets me.
DAMN, that looks scary!
Oh look I can see Kansas from heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere....
SpLAT!
Yup one wrong placement of a bolt and it's over.
a non lubed gear and you will land in canada
As much as I love going on rides, and as much as I don't mind feeling like I have whiplash from this weekend's rides at the fair ... that one might not make it on my "must ride" list.
yeah, I think I could do it...it would be freaky as hell!
Here's a description of one of the rides there. There are actually three of them.
Driving around town you can't help but notice the new ride atop the Stratosphere, aptly named, Insanity. Riders are strapped into this large egg beater thingy, and then the huge overhead arm pivots out from the roof of the tower until the lucky people are suspended 1000 feet up with nothing between you and the ground but thin air. This alone would be considered enough of an adrenalin rush for most people, but the real fun hasn't even begun yet. The thing begins to rotate, finally reaching a speed of forty miles an hour, and the centripetal forces raise the arms until the riders are looking almost straight down while speeding in a circle. Surviving the stress of imminent death while hanging over the side of the tallest occupied tower west of the Mississippi just might be the ultimate "high fun." I think the reason for the name "Insanity" refers to the insane folk that pay good money to endure this trauma.
