Do you regularly take News Quizes?

On a weekly basis, I take the NY Times weekly quiz (every Friday) as well as the WBUR weekly news quiz (also every Friday).

I also take the NPR news quiz (Fridays) whenever I stumble onto them on the NPR site. I get notifications for the former two quizzes. NPR tends to be on the harder side of things as they're actually will place red herrings on the news quiz page. Photos next to the question that could throw you off from the right answer to the question. Plus they often employ humor in their question wording and answers.

So? Do you usually take on these quizzes? How good is your score on a given quiz? Do you often just guess at the more obscure questions?

@tsarstepan,
I take the weekly NYT quiz but since I always skip stories about fashionistas, movies, and celebrities it's difficult for me to get a perfect score. My average is around 9.5 – but I did ace the July 28th one.
