I am stuck on Monster Colossus 140---272Across Clue "Pl"
I have SLE*T* but nothing fits in. I know Pl normally means spot or place.
But unless I have made an error with the down clues it is just gobbleygook! I am obviously missing something. Can someone please help?

PS I mistook the I for a lower case "L" rather than a capital I.
I went on crossword solver, put in the letters you had, then when the four possible solutions turned up reverse engineered them to see which one fitted the clue.
