MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE

Current theories of physics break down once the temperature of an object reaches the Planck temperature or 100 million million million million million degrees fahrenheit. At that temperature matter would emit radiation with so much energy that every photon would create its own miniature Planck mass black hole, which is the hottest black hole that can exist. The whole universe was very briefly at this temperature, about 10 to the minus 43 seconds after the Big Bang. Overall, it's a hundred trillion trillion times hotter than the Sun.
