On banned member not understanding question when joining table

I joined table, they asked 4 then a letter, I believed all they meant was all canastas had to be starting with a 4 so I said ok.
Then when playing I picked up pile with a pair of aces, I had no sequences in my hand all pairs and triplets got message back it can’t be so . I didn’t do it any more we lost game. It I got message after I was banned for 5 days, I really didn’t know I’d done anything wrong, there should be some where that people explain ,what the rules are be fore you join and give people a chance. Some times I get 7 don’t know what that means I thought maybe only through king. I love playing the game. After this I guess I’m going to stick to my own table only because some people are really mean and don’t help explaining there rules. Is there anyway I can get back and playing sooner and just stick to my table
