Male 50 - Hot all the time (Boiling!)

Good evening all,

I wonder if anyone can offer some advice with regard to being hot all the time. Historically, up until a few months ago, if it turned cold I'd suffer terribly, often being the most wrapped up person in the street. Yet, of late, I'm constantly boiling, so much that the windows are open constantly and I'd be sitting in my underwear, and even on occasion having to get ICE out the freezer and put it onto a towel to try and cool me down. Nighttimes are even worse, not being able to even have a sheet, let alone a quilt on me.

Obviously, I accept this might help with increasing energy bills but it's doing nothing for my mindset!

Thanks in advance for any help you maybe able to provide.

@JamesJ9446,
Are you checking your internal temperature? I wonder if you're running a fever. And, of course, talk to your doctor. If you were a woman I would chalk it up to menopause, but ...

@jespah,
The checking of internal temp is a very good point, the answer is no. That said, I will start to keep a note of it, but as far as a fever, I feel quite well in myself, and I wouldn't say there's any feeling of being ill, that said, and, what I'm going to say now is going to be emotive, when I had my first Vax jab, having been for a seven mile run in the morning, and having the injection in the afternoon, it led me to be collected by ambulance the next morning with breathing difficulties, my sats were around 92/3 I believe.

Anyhow, at the hospital they did blood tests and came back with some odd questions because my white cell count was through the roof, and I presume there were other things, but Q1 was, could I have come into contact with a significant amount of arsenic, or two, radiological materials. In fairness, and if I think back, I haven't been right since then, although I'm back in the gym and running like nothing happened.

@JamesJ9446,
I'm with Neal. Go to a doctor. Please. High white cell counts tend to mean an infection.

And nope, I'm not a doctor. But your physician is.

@JamesJ9446,
You also said that in the past you were quite cold. Mention that fact to the doctor.
I once got into a car accident in the summer. I was quite cold, probably due to some degree of schock.
Your body is telling you something. A doctor is most qualified to tell you what it is.
