I would suggest an astrophysics major if it is offered by your preferred school, and a physics major if not.
And definitely get a minor in mathematics.

I don't think it makes a bit of difference. And your preferred school probably only offers one or the other, so I would say the answer is whatever one is offered by your preferred school.
They both offer a broad background of general subjects and a specific focus on majors and minors. The difference is the BS has a
slightly stronger focus on majors, and the BA has a
slightly stronger focus on the background of general subjects. But the difference is so slight that on a practical level it doesn't matter.
