There kind of isn't anything called a general niche. It's a contradiction in terms.

Be that as it may, your blog name should probably reflect you and what you intend to write about, but with some wiggle room if you need to change things.

E.g. my own blog is called Adventures in Career Changing. It's covered everything from classes I have taken to writing (which I do now). No need to change the name, even when I had years when I was doing data analysis to put food on the table.

Consider something easy to remember and spell.

Let's say your nickname is, I don't know, Dutch. A name like Dutch Town or Dutch's Thoughts might or might not work.

How about randomgeneralnicheblog? Pretty sure no one else has that name. Keep in mind that you're asking strangers for free marketing advice. Strangers who don't know you, your rough geographical location, your strengths and focuses, etc....
