In one of the documents published in « Calendar of Charters and Documents Relating to the Abbey of Robertsbridge » (London 1873) there is a place-name called "Wardullesland":
« 199 Mabel daughter of Robert de Welilande to Henry de Hechene.
Grant in fee of the field called Goldinesland and 2 acres of land formerly Reginald's and 2 acres of land near Burne next Wardullesland…

In another document published in "Report on the manuscripts of Lord De l'Isle & Dudley preserved at Penhurst Place" (1925 London) relating to the Robertsbridge Abbey this place is called Wardulveslond :

Charter of Stephen de Barminge and Mabilia de Welilonde his wife, daughter and heiress of Robert de Welilonde, granting to Robertsbridge Abbey in frankalmoign all their land called Badilond lying between the King’s highway at Udimere on the south and the land called Morgheyve on the north, and adjoining the land called Wardulveslond on the east… (495) »
