LOL Pueo. I wouldn't say that too loudly, LOL!
Well, It looks like all the Australians will have to come here since I will never fly, even on Deb's broom. The handle could snap or something. You never know ;-)
Grrrrrrrrrr!
Gezzy, seriously, fear of flying is quite treatable - or you just fill yourself up with tranquillisers, get wheeled onto the aircraft, sleep, and get wheeled off!!!
Heeeheeeee
TRUE!!!
Thanks Deb, but I think I'll just stay on earth ;-)
Reminds me of "D" - he did not like take off and landing - and they could be quite terrifying in windy british weather.
I used to stock him up on booze, and then hold him tightly till the plane levelled off (Gawd those stares !!)
gezzy, once you take off, you'll get back down one way or another.
Dont look out of the window as well !
I must confess, I do not enjoy flying as much as I used to.
I come from an aviation family - I have flown in ultralights, a WWI open cockpit Gypsy Moth bi-plane (upside down), lots of light aircraft, the old prop passenger planes, and, of course, the big passenger jets.
I confess, I am not as fearless in them as I used to be - but the same is true of horses and motorcycles, too - weird.
Why would I become more fearful of losing my life, as I progressively risk a smaller percentage of the rest of it?
I'll get on a horse right now.
hmmmmm......
This is probably as good a place as any to say it.
My computer is making it harder and harder to get online - there is some sort of error happening. I can't afford to get it fixed at present - I will try diskscan tonight - that sometime helps.
If I disappear that will be the reason.
Sounds sort of like Oates leaving the tent on Scott's expedition, doesn't it?
heehee
Noooooooooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What will we do without you ?????????????????
