Just in case you miss me...
Hope you're going on vacation, and that you'll have a good time.
Yep, fishing trip with my son. Looking forward to it! If I find any Internet access (I have no laptop), I'll check in and let you know how we're doing.
someone, Mark Twain I think, said there is nothing
quite as important or great, as goin' fishin'....
sounds like a blast!
<is it weird that the first two people to wish you well on your time away are Canajuns? are we overly polite?>
Have a great time! Fishing is favourite pastime of mine.

Are you going before your parole board? Good luck!
BBB
out of respect for ted, i'm assuming your bow hunting these fish
"We catched fish and talked, and we took a swim now and then to keep off sleepiness. It was kind of solemn, drifting down the big, still river, laying on our backs looking up at the stars , and we didn't ever feel like talking loud, and it warn't often that we laughed only a little kind of low chuckle. We had mighty good weather as a general thing and nothing ever happened to us at all."

Have a great time see ya soon! Be safe!
We won't miss you, but stay safe and healthy.
Actually, I think MT said messing about in boats was the greatest thing, but its pretty close to fishin'........
That'll be Kenneth Graham - in the persona of Ratty - in "The Wind in the Willows"....
He who spoke of messing about in boats, I mean.
Well, Twain may have, too - but it is closely associated with Ratty.
Correction acknowledged dlowan...
"Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats."
the Wind in the Willows
Just make sure the boat doesn't have any holes....
Have fun, CJ :-) Catch me a big one, will ya ;-)
We'll miss you, cj, but nothing is more wonderful than time spent with one's son.
I'm with Letty. I'll miss you as well, cj. You go and have a wonderful time with your son! I'm hoping to see my son this weekend and I can hardly wait!
