Skil Table Saw

Greetings to all.

I bought this saw at the beginning of the year, and I adore it so far. The tabletop's unevenness is the only issue I have with it. Compared to the left and right sides, the middle is lower.

Has anyone else experienced a new Skilsaw spt99-12 with a non-flat top?

@Dreamey01,
That's the sort of defect that might be covered by the manufacturer if there's a warranty. The table should be flat – has it been this way since you bought it?

@hightor,
Yes, but I'm worried if it's covered under warranty. Thanks for your help.

@Dreamey01,
If it isn't covered, you may be able to flatten it yourself. Loosen any bolts which hold the table to the frame and use sheets of paper as shims to raise the middle of the table, drawing it down with the bolts on the sides and checking your work with a good straight edge as you go.
