Sounds like "customer relations" or even a type of "agent" like a pimp, or car-sales-person. Your that in-between that does all of the in-between work between clients and the service/product they want.
Your not doing marketing, which is to sell people on the idea of a good or service, and even talk about how to get the idea out. Your not on the sales-floor. Your not performing a service but being a mouth-piece of the entire machine itself.
Think of yourself like the first person who is aware or even represents the company, like a cashier or host who never lifts a finger on anything, or did it during the past but never in their old age. You know what the customer wants, when they want it, where they want it, even before they communicate to you but you pretend you do no know at all, allowing them to have an experience where they feel they are the boss...until they sign the contract and send payment.
Your customer relations. Your a telephone in a pizzeria or the busser/busboy/waiter/waitress.
