Is there a source you use to help you remember what happened in a previous book in a series that you read so you can be reminded about characters, character motivation, plot points, etc... in that book's sequel?

Example: read the first book of a trilogy well over in November 2020. Finally getting around to reading the second book. Don't want to reread the first book. It ain't that good. But damn alien names and character relations and such.

@tsarstepan,
Does the author have a website, or is there a fan group on FB dedicated to them?

@tsarstepan,
If it's a good enougn book there should be study guides like Spark notes, but only for stuff that gets studied.

These aren't literary masterpieces to be studied in literature class. Just works of science fiction.
