Refund policy? How to get your money back?

Let me ask this question Say your were online shopping for an item and you come across something you like. You order a size larger because a lot of the online reviews say the sizes tend to run small. You actually order the largest size they have. The item arrives and what you receive is still too small. You contact the customer service and ask about a refund to send the item back. The retailer said that they sent what you ordered so you can't send the item back but what they will do is offer you a 10% refund and you can keep the item. Ok, you paid $60 for the item and it's too small so you can't do anything with it. They say you can keep the item but all they will refund is $6? What would you do? Now they do have a return policy that states full refund if returned within 30 days.

2. Return Policy

We're bummed if you're not 100% satisfied with the items you received, and we gladly accept returns within 30 days of receipt for most items in new condition.

I guess the kicker here is the words "most items".

What would you do? Call your bank and dispute the purchase stating they won't take the item back but are only willing to give you 10% of the purchase back? Keep the item and accept the 10%? What?

@Pwebster,
It depends on the website in question. Is it a legitimate site? Is the refund policy strictly written out as such on their website? Any ambiguity to the language? It's not going to hurt if you do end up taking it to your respective bank to have them investigate the charge.

Somethings (like underwear or bathing suits WON'T EVER be considered returnable). You left out a lot of details (re the purchase and where from).

@tsarstepan,
I listed the refund policy on my OP. I ordered a suit jacket that when it arrived it was too little but I ordered a size larger than I normally wear because the reviews on the site said their clothes tend to run small. I actually ordered the largest jacket they had because I figured if it was too large I could get it altered.
