Hello I am Nutrition & Dietetics student looking into applying for Master's in the USA.
If I opt for a 1 year Master's program, what is the process of applying for the Internship at a hospital in order to complete the 1,000 hours to sit for the RD Exam?

You should ask the Masters programs where you are applying.

Usually universities will help students obtain internships or provide tools to guide them.
