Facebook marketplace suggesting groups in wrong location

I just wanted to sell a few things on Facebook Marketplace. I was able to list the items with no trouble except that when I hit list in more places it shows groups that are further away than the 40 mile radius I entered for my location. When I check my location it shows properly so why is it suggesting groups so far away for me to sell in?
