account hacked email address changed

After my email was hacked, my facebook account was hacked. The person changed my email address and I could not log in, since the email address was posted by the hacker. I looked at video after video and never could find a solution. So, then, I finally set up another account, with a different email address and a slightly different name. I thought that I had set it up, but now I cannot log in. I could a day or two ago, but now I cannot.
I've been told that submitting my driver's license is futile.
I use my facebook page - my work, my friends, my church friends (my husband in a United Methodist Pastor, just finishing his 56th years of continual service., and managing the church's facebook page - none of which I now have access to.
