I need the cash. And besides, for those of you who haven't heard, the Secret Service has been pilfering my brush pile and transporting my brush over to Bush's ranch. Just so he has something to do when he's on vacation.
So, I made a bunch of brooms with the remaining brush.
Anyone interested? Six bucks apiece.
Would a broom from Gus sweep clean?
If it is not nimbus 2000 (at a minimum) I am not interested.
im a witch. i always need a good broom.
can they fly?
ooo oooo! i know the dirty rat who did the squeel'n!
I dont use brooms, i have a terrible irrational fear of brooms and waiting rooms.
perhaps if you would make a hat?
They look like a good besom to lean against the fireplace. Does the $6 include shipping and handling?
And what happened to buy one, get one free, ha?
:marketing 101:
I actually - I am sure this will surprise all of you - have a slight brush fetish. I've purchased one of those three part wallpaper brushes - I think that's what they are - because I like the looks. I miss the sumi-e brushes I gave away...
As to hawking these brooms via a2k, that seems to be tilting at windmills, Gus. You probably have to give us all your personal email, and then we can contact you.
osso, before gustav gives all of us his private email,
hel'll burn the brooms in his dump....aehm swamp.
forget the brooms... i'd take come pictures of this guy, he's very photogenic. i could frame them and hang them above the mantle... very old world-ish.....
PoisonBreath, first of all, welcome to a2k, and apologies for playing with your name, I can't help it, and second of all, Gus' old guy persona is one of the columns on which this place stands. He provides us varying photos, indeed very varying, from time to time. So, I'm sure he'll be thrilled, thrilled, that you like his photo...
i figured it was like that with Gus, iam not that thick headed. I really do like the broom photo though. There was this one NG magazine photo of some old country and there was this old man with his back to the camera on a dirt road with a goose under his arm. He was on his way home from market with his dinner. there was such a look of resolve on the gooses face... boy it was a great picture.
oh and i dont mind name playing ozzy
Ozzy, a new and good name for meeeee.
Yes, re photos in NG - well, they are often too glossy for me, but I also tend to like the content....
