April Fool's Day

thanks for the reminder - now I gotta think of something good to do -
any thoughts I have one daughter here at home - 19 - she has a remote class at about 11:30 est - she is unlikely to crawl out of her room much before then - any thoughts on what I could do to her?

Tell her footage of Putin in 1970s porn films has been released on the net, my mate believed it.

I just got my husband ...we are having work done on our home one thing we jyst got a quote on replacing shingles so my husband called me as he had talked to the contractor earlier today about how long before he could start ... So I said we did get another email from him...he Saud there is an issue with the shingles and the prices have gone up considerably it is now going to be well over $20k!

He said you're kidding me!

I said yes April fools day

I'm sure the kids will be at me all day today, I'm ready for it!

My mother always claimed April Fool's Day ended at noon.

I have never heard anyone else say that, but when I was a kid if you tried to fool her after noon she would say "April fool has come and gone, you're the fool and I am none."

And yes, it did piss me off.

I can see that - as by noon - you should have caught on that it is April Fools day.

Got her - she actually had set her alarm some what early - I heard it go off. So a little after that I went and knocked on her door. She had applied at a local community college for next year - wanting to stay at home and re-group for a year. Any way - she chose one college over another in large part because they had a basketball team and she wants to be able to play while in school.

So this morning I asked if she got an email with any information yet - she said she had not checked. So I told her that unfortunately they decided to end their sports programs.

Then I said April Fools Day!

She said I was mean.
