We purchased 5 laptops, and John, Joe, and Mary have received their laptop.

In the sentence above, should the last word be laptop or laptops? Each person has one but there are 3 total received.

BTW, how do I post to a specific topic group? I couldn't see the option to post a new question in English ? Grammar. Is it maybe that I just joined so it was not approved to post yet?

THANKS!
