receiving anonymous nude pics, should I call the cops?

i have a semi-public email address because of linkedin and have been receiving naked pictures from someone anonymously. there have been 4 emails. this guys tells me things he wants to do to me and includes pictures of his penis. one picture was him blowing his load. the emails do not explicitly state that he wants to harm me, but he goes into detail about sexual things he wants to do with me. I have someone in mind who could possibly be doing this. if I call the police will they investigate? if I told them who i think it is would they arrest him?

why haven't you called the police instead of coming on here? Of course you should tell them.

We aren't law enforcement or can NOT by the forum's TOS or Terms of Service offer legal advice. Nor do we know where you live and at what capacity your local or state law enforcement can handle this.

1. If you feel threatened, contact your local law enforcement.
2. Why don't you report these emails to your email service provider?
