@The Anointed,
Yes. He gave up the ghost. The body was the ghost.

@The Anointed,
I'm sorry, I meant to say that he did not die. The temporal is not the essence.

On the day he was baptised, he was filled with the spirit of our Lord God and saviour who revealed himself to us through the words he commanded Jesus to speak and the miracles that he worked through Jesus.

On the cross Jesus gave up the spirit crying; "My God, my God why have you abandoned me, as the Lord who could not die, ceased to be an individual entity by releasing all the spirits of the righteous that had been gathered to him in death, whose graves were then opened and three days later those saints came out of their Graves and entered the holy city and revealed themselves to many. But did the body of the man Jesus actually die?

@The Anointed,
I think so.

Is it possible that his spirit gave up the body (ghost) rather than the other way around? After all, the body is the ghost of the two.

I'm just conjecturing.

The spirit of the Lord abandoned the body of Jesus, who was a genetic descendant of King David and born of the seed of Adam as are all humans, and his death could only pay for his own previous imperfections.

It was the 'Son of Man' our Lord God and saviour, who saves us by offering his life for the sins and mistakes made while he was developing within the flesh.

For Just as mankind developed within the bodies of our animal ancestors, so too the 'Son of Man' develops within the body of Eve who has become the androgynous body of mankind, in who the child of God's promise who is to crush the head of Satan, is formed.

All have sinned and all must die the First death then go off into judgement.

All must pay the blood price for the sins and mistakes that we, the minds/spirits made while developing in the flesh, then we the invisible minds go off to be judged. And although all must die the first death, which is the death of the physical womb in which we develop, not all must die the second death in the Lake burning with fire and sulfur, which is the Second death, the death of the mind/spirit.

Did Jesus really die on the cross, and does it really matter if he didn’t? For the death of a man can only pay the blood price for the life of that man, and we know it was the spiritual 'Son of Man' who offered his life for the sins of the body in which he develops.

@The Anointed,
Continued from previous post.

Did Jesus really die on the cross, and does it really matter if he didn’t? For the death of a man can only pay the blood price for the life of that man, and we know it was the spiritual Son of Man who offered his life for the sins of the body in which he develops.

Crucifixion resulted in death through anyone of two ways. one way was hypovolemic shock, which can cause fluid to gather in the area around the heart. This is called pericardial effusion.

Another way that death would occur during crucifixion was due to asphyxiation, which occurs when the person is unable to breathe in enough oxygen to survive.

The victim’s weight was inhibiting him to breath and he had to keep pulling himself up with his hands which were nailed to the wooden beam, or pushing up with his feet which were also nailed to the stake.

Eventually, he would no longer be able to push up and due to the lack of Oxygen would pass out and die.

There are those who believe that Jesus did not die, but was unconscious when the Roman soldier came to check, the other two who were crucified with Jesus, were still trying to push themselves up in their attempt to breath, so their legs were broken, and no longer able to breath they died within minutes, but the guard seeing the unconscious Jesus thought that he was dead, and didn’t bother to break his legs, but instead, shoved a spear into his side, most likely under his ribs, which ruptured the pericardial sack, releasing the water with the blood that was still flowing through his body.

John the beloved disciple was still there and later went to great pains to call our attention to the fact that both blood and water flowed from the body of Jesus, by saying in John 19: 35; (The one who saw this happen has spoken of it, so that you might believe that what he said was true, and he knows that he speaks the truth.) Shortly after that, Joseph and Nicodemus took the body down and buried it in the cave Just as the sun was setting on Wednesday afternoon.

How long after the heart stops beating does the blood stop flowing? It only takes three to four minutes for the person to become brain dead due to a lack of oxygen.

But, as said previously, it doesn’t matter if he didn’t actually die, because his death could not pay the blood price for those who had sinned in obedience to the evolving Spirit in the human race, only the ’Son of Man’ could pay that penalty.

Jesus had to convince his disciples who thought that he was a ghost, that he was not a spiritual being and that he was still a human of flesh and blood, by eating the food they offered him, but we also know that he was later translated as were Enoch and Elijah, and ascended to the heavenly throne of our Father.

3-5 days after death — the body starts to bloat and blood-containing foam leaks from the mouth and nose. 8-10 days after death — the body turns from green to red as the blood decomposes and the organs in the abdomen accumulate gas. Several weeks after death — nails and teeth fall out. 1 month after death — the body starts to liquify.
