Guys I have worked for a company for 6 mouth now, I have done well and although the feedback from my manager appears to be mixed I believe good ones overcome the bad ones. I mean things gone wrong very wrong and in fact I was involved in them but they were not my fault and everyone completely agrees with that.
Today I have reached my 6 mouth probationary period. My manager called me in to discuss the outcome of it. He more or less told me I have no option but to leave my current job and the team I'm in. But he openly offered me a another job within the company at another department. He mentioned that the job has not been fully developed but they are planning to complete it within weeks to come.
The reasons he vaguely mentioned that I have to leave was the fact other team member don't get along with me (one team member is very difficult to get along with, everyone knows that and the manager also confirms it) and also the fact that English is not my first language and I speak with a strong accent.
He has emailed the job description and told me I can apply although he mentioned I have to complete another 3 mouths prohibitionary period. (Company policy states if do not pass the 6 mouth prohibition period automatically another 3 mouth is extended).
Now my question is alternative suitable job is commen to avoid dismissal during probation period or is he just throwing a bone at me?
