Hello guys! Can you please check if I am correctly this interesting idiom that i just learned today

1. My friend will pay next to nothing for the house maid, which I believe to be unfair.

2. Next to nothing is what this epic massage gun costed me.

3. I feel sorry for Steve, he has next to nothing to eat in his fridge. He's been going through a rough financial crisis.

Yes, they're all perfect Smile But we wouldn't phrase 2. that way. This epic massage gun cost me next to nothing, is how I would say it. It means "almost nothing" or the nearest thing to nothing.
