Symptoms of Anxiety:
Panic, fear, and uneasiness; feelings of panic, doom, or danger, sleep problems; not being able to stay calm and still; cold, sweaty, numb, or tingling hands or feet; shortness of breath; hyperventilation; heart palpitations; dry mouth; nausea; tense muscles; dizziness; thinking about a problem over and over again and unable to stop (rumination); inability to concentrate; intensely or obsessively avoiding feared objects or places.
I have dealing with the above symptoms all my life. I blame anxiety for my overweight condition. I daily overeat but not because of hunger. It is because I am not able to stay calm and still, which is one of the symptoms of anxiety. Can you relate to my anxiety situation?
@nycdad,
There are medications ( and some non prescription medications) to deal with all these symptoms you have listed.
Spend some time researching.
