I'm sorry, but the attraction of fascism eludes me. Could somebody please enlighten me?

Black and white thinking, there is a reason you fail, we know who is to blame.

It appeals to the stupid with a sense of victimhood.

Not all of them were, but the basis is a very simple ideology.

Others exploit those fears and prejudices.

Yes. We have to be wary of politicians that give simple answers and slogans to complex problems.
