FB authentication major issues.. new phone

Hello,

I got a new iphone and transfered everything (i thought) from my old phone to my new phone.
I erased everything on the old phone and mailed it away to verizon for a discount.

Now, I can not access FACEBOOK on the new phone because it wasnt my authentication code.... i looked and my microsoft authentication device was moved to the new phone but it was logged off.. i logged in and now it gives me 8 digits instead of the previous 6.

i tried to disable my two factor authentication on Facebook but it wont let me because it wants me to enter an authentication code which i can not get.

help!
