Who has tried Disk digger in ( wipe free space ) , does it work well? Can it erase or overwrite the old data and prevent any application after root from recovering files?

If your harddrive is likely to be dug into by unfriendly people looking for such things as deleted files I suggest just encrypted the whole drive not worrying about free spaces wipers programs and such.
