Opening lost Skype

I had to reset my computer & reload Skype. Prior to this, due to earlier problems, I had ended up with 2 skypes accounts. Now, I managed to open one skype account but it is not the one I want. The name of this account is xxxyyy but the account I'm looking for is xxx.yyy When I try to sign-in to xxx.yyy I get the xxxyyy account.
