I dug out a Coca Cola bottle in our front yard. It only has writing on the bottom of the bottle. The traditional Coca Cola script on the side of the bottle is absent. I believe this bottle is a "hobble skirt"
Written on the bottom is COCA-COLA LTD. Below this is...
In a row there is a Capital "U" followed by a triangular symbol and followed by the number "4" The last item (appears just below the triangular symbol is the number "20" . Does anyone know anything about this bottle. Greatly appreciated. M

@Morofoto,
All you have to do is Google “ vintage Coca Cola bottles” and tons of info comes up. Keep being more specific on Google as you investigate more and more.

“How to date Coca Cola bottles” is another search topic.

I have a six pack of coke bottles in a metal carrying pack. I think it's from the 50s. It's common enough to not be worth as much as you might expect.

@edgarblythe,
does the metal (6 pck ) carrying rack have the bottling works ? and are the bottles embossed with the names of their home cities?? Are the bottles the 6.5 or 7 ouncers ? Is the carrying case tin or Aluminum (Al is only worth from 125 to 200 based on condition)

Those tin 6 pax with the squiggly steel carrying handle can be worth about 500$ retail, maybe 300 auction. Im not sure about the case they vary based on condition.

@farmerman,
They appear to be aluminum cases, embossed. I forgot to see if the bottling works is on it. Likely Houston, because all of the bottles are Houston. On the bottles bottoms with one case Houston Texas is away from the center, with a c directly in the middle. The others have Houston Teas in larger letters, no c. They are 6 1/2 ounces. Most have the caps but all are rusty. There are just five bottles in one case, with what looks to be a 6 oz or less Grapette bottle in the last hole.
