@The Anointed,
Quote:Galatians 4: 29; Yet as at that time, the child born according to the flesh, (Ishmael) despised and persecuted hum (Isaac) who was born according to the promise and the workings of the Holy Spirit.
How was Isaac, the son of Sarah and her half-brother Abraham, born according to the power=workings of the Holy Spirit?
Isaac was the prototype of Jesus, who was the reality of the promise that the Lord God made to Abraham, and Isaac was offered up as a sacrifice on the very same mountain upon which Jesus was crucified.
But neither Isaac or Jesus died after being offered up, as God had already prepared a replacement sacrifice for both of them.
He, Isaac, like Jesus was born of a brother-sister relationship, Sarah and Abraham were both sired by Terah their father, from different mothers, and Jesus was born from the union of Mary and Joseph, who were both sired by Alexander Helios=Heli, from different mothers, and both are said to have been born according to the power=workings of the Holy Spirit.
Both Sarah and Mary, were told by an angel that they were to conceive according to the power=workings of the Holy Spirit and give birth to the son of God's promise.
Was Sarah still a virgin when she gave birth to Isaac?
