If you have custody of a child and the non custodial parent owes over 10k in back child support then the child goes to live with that non custodial parent, can they come after you for child support?
Some more info. The original order is in TN with the custodial parent. The non lives in GA. Can GA come after the parent in TN that is owed the back support. The GA parent has lost her license for not paying, but TN won't go after her.
I don't know the answer to your questions, but it sounds like the person in question really needs to have a lawyer to protect their interests.
I predict that it won't end well if they don't hire a lawyer.

Still, if no court has changed the custodial parent, I doubt there is any binding change in who pays what to whom.
