Loaded Facebook on new tablet using same email address as on old tablet and phone but its come up with an old profile complete with old profile photo and no friends in my list.
How can this be under tgecsame email address and, more important, how can I get it to show the correct version?

Perhaps you now have more than one account? Is that possible? check and see if you have logged into FB using a different email account.
