I confessed my feelings to my friend who told me she was straight

Can anyone please tell if it is normal that a straight person blocks you on all social media (even though you never contact them via these channels) after you confess your feelings even though they are your friend? Is it because they are not ready to identify themselves as bisexual and reject you but still love you a lot, hence blocking you to forget everything? Or is it because they feel creeped out (does this reason make sense when she has been your friend for a long while?)?
Should I move on or let her have her own space for a while and then get back to her? Can anyone suggest what I should do in this situation? I'm so depressed right now.

@thecather777,
Should you respect her decision to move on, absolutely. She saw you as a friend, you saw her romantically, you took your shot and she decided she can't go on as a friend knowing your feelings. This happens everyday. Mourn the friendship for a while then move on.

Is this the same person you wrote to this form about on July 17?

Even at that time she was giving you signals that she was not interested in you romantically. She might be one of those people who is very touchy-feely and gets very familiar with everyone, but deep-down, is straight.
