AC Drill Direct Wiring

I have an old dewalt drill that the switch went out on and they don't make the replacements for it anymore. I have an old switch that will work buts it's just a switch that you would put on the positive wire wire to break the circuit. So there's no 4 wires coming out of the new switch that matches up with the brushes and the windings. My question is where do I run the power supply wires to since I only have 2 wires coming from the chord and 4 wires at the motor. 2 wires to the brushing and 2 wires to the windings. I've searched high and low for an answer but I don't think I'm wording it right or something. Sorry if I'm asking a question that's been covered 100 times. But any info would be greatly appreciated thank you.

@JrodzRod,
Why assume there’s anything negative associated with the lack of response? Perhaps you need to understand that no one may have a correct answer.

If it were me I’d either bring it to handyman with electrical knowledge or breakdown and buy a new tool. Furthermore, perhaps Dewalt has a technical support for your question. Add direct the question to their support toll free number or website.

@JrodzRod,
Whenever I have a problem with a product, I always a) download the manual and b) contact the company directly. Ragman's right - they're the best ones for you to contact. Their service department may even have a switch that would work.
