So lately I've been feeling depressed, angry, and confused about life. I have all these thoughts swimming in my head and I find it impossible to silence them. These thoughts are typically brought upon from my pain, my suffering, and my desire to break free. I know I need help but I often feel ashamed about myself and I feel alone and have no desire to seek help at the same time. I've made numerous plans to run away but for some reason something stops me every time. I just feel so confused and I don't know what to do at all and I hate that I can't do anything.

@prevalsu,
You can talk to your doctor. Your regular doctor, I mean.

Tell him or her what you wrote here, or just show them the page. That'll work, too. They can help with a referral if you need one. And, sometimes, feeling off can in part stem from a physical ailment. So you're not just going there for a name and a blessing from your insurance company.

There is help out there.

agreed - your primary care should typically be asking you questions that would include mental health type things - it is part of your general health and should not be considered anything negative similar to any other health issue one could have. Your primary care is responsible for your overall health and should be in a good position to help you and provide appropriate guidance.
