@edgarblythe,
Just a couple of hours after I said they had a good chance to be the champs if Harden and Durant stayed healthy, Harden left the game in the first quarter of game 1 with a hamstring injury.

@Region Philbis,
Yeah, was just commenting about that. I think I jinxed ‘em.

Harden left Houston so he could have a run at the championship. Some might call that karma. But it's just a bad experience at the worst time.

@edgarblythe,
Well in any case, Kyrie Irving seemed ready and able to step in and take the role of playmaker.

Nets are stomping a veritable mud hole into the Bucks’ collective asses.
Up by 24 at the half, and have led every single second of the game.

I was thinking this series would be a lot more even.

@snood,
I knew the Nets were good this year, but they are doing better than I expected so far.

I would consider keeping Harden out of the Bucks series so he can be totally well against the next team. Assuming the bucks continue to roll over.

Seems the weaker teams have at least one or two good games in a series. I hope that's all it is here.

@edgarblythe,
I see too much reliance on Durant by the Nets. He is great and usually reliable (he singlehandedly kept them in it, in the final minutes). But Kyrie and other role-players are going to have to provide more scoring. Especially if the Bucks keep up with their balanced attack.

@snood,
There are reasons why the Nets never have won a championship. I don't get to see any of it except if I look up clips after the fact and I don't need to once the scores are in.

Whoever wins the championship this year will probably be a team that’s never won it before.

Well, let me amend that. They will probably have never won an NBA championship. For instance the Nets won an ABA championship like fifty years ago.

Harden's status is a mystery to anyone outside the organization.
