I've googled for ages on this, but can't make a 'breakthrough'. Any hints, clues or nudges would be really appreciated. Question: E. G. plumber turn up this morning to look at a broken part, which of course worked as soon as he turned it on! That is an example of whose law which featured in a book (in)famous for calling someone ‘Philip’?
@Ramires7,
Just because nobody has answered doesn’t mean people aren’t thinking about it.
I thought of Great Expectations, the central character there is Philip but is known as Pip.
It looks like a dead end though sorry.
