Is india a rich or poor country?

I am not from india but I love your movies from Bollywood. I am a fan of Shah Rukh Khan, I have watched two of his movies that he starred with Kajol in. But there is a rumor he is dying of lung cancer - is that true?

no - shah rukh khan isnt dying. His latest movie is "Paheli" - you might like it.......Shah rukh plays a "double role"...

I love all his movies - I watched "Braveheart takes the bride" and also "Karan and Arjun" - (both starring Kajol as well) and I think he is perfect: singing, acting, dancing not to mention looks - that he is India's most successful actor is not surprising at all - it is expected. But my friend calls me crazy for enjoyinging bollywoodmovies..."semi crazy, bordering the crazy" she says.

Yes, I do enjoy bollywood movies - after all, i've grown up on them ..what would we Indians do without our kitschy potboilers ...My favorite Indian movies, however, would be in the "off-beat" category.

Some more shah rukh movies (along with their informal English titles) that you might enjoy (all these were overseas hits):
- Kabhie khushi Kabhie gham (also starring Kajol)
- Kuch kuch hota hai ("Something is happening", also starring Kajol)
- Baazigar (also starring Kajol)
- Kal ho na ho ("Tomorrow May Never Come")

- Devdas

I didnt like any of these movies much. I personally liked "Paheli" a new movie.."Lagaan" is a nice movie too - no Shah rukh in it, it stars another Khan - Aamir khan.

So you're indian? I'm jealous - I'm chinese and our movie industry isn't what I regard as an advantage or a highlight..., more of failed-copying-american-format rubbish on TV.

Thanks for that list. I'm trying to locate a video store which rents out overseas movies, but no luck so far.

Never watched a chinese movie. Do you live in China? I remember hearing that "Kuch kuch hota hai" was released in China.
